It applies whenever a PDF resume and corresponding job description are available and a consistent, scalable first-pass evaluation is needed. The agent parses both documents, calculates relevant years of experience, matches required and nice-to-have qualifications with explicit resume evidence, and scans for red flags in employment history or claim credibility. It then computes a 0–100 fit score using a weighted formula that emphasizes required qualifications, nice-to-haves, experience/trajectory, and deducts points for defined red flags. Output includes extracted requirements, a qualification match table, missing qualifications, a concise experience summary, and, for candidates scoring 60 or higher, tailored interview questions tied directly to identified gaps or ambiguities. Validation rules ensure scores align mathematically with the matching results, all matches are evidence-backed, and no unstated requirements are invented, with guidance on handling vague job descriptions, unconventional resumes, overqualified applicants, and career changers.
